The Golden Ratio
Why Golden Ratio? We have a confession to make. We geek out over any work that calls for design development and thus, research. It only makes sense that our brand name is slightly nerdy as well.

Mathematically speaking, the Golden Ratio is approximately equal to 1.618 and appears naturally throughout nature, art, the human body and architecture. The number defines how elements within a piece of art can be placed in the most aesthetically pleasing way through the balance and harmony it creates.
It is said to be considered the most beautiful number in the universe.
As individuals, we are naturally drawn to the proportion, scale and balance of elements in art and nature. We use the Golden Ratio as a scientific tool to assist us in our design development, merchandising, styling and marketing processes in order to bring an organized balance of color and weight distribution to our creations.

woman-owned, multi-disciplinary creative agency based in Los Angeles, California.

We take the guessing out of design development and marketing through strategic fashion forecasting and actionable deliverables that speak to your audience. We do this by focusing on the why, which ensures client objectives are met and all strategies align with each unique brand identity.
Melissa Triber
In 2010, Triber began her career in trend forecasting at Trends West; a monthly retail forecasting service for men’s, women’s, & children’s apparel + accessories. She then joined the trend/editorial team at Stylesight (now known as WGSN), where she helped to build custom presentations for clients such as Lenzing, Honda, Toyota, & Wet Seal, to name a few. On the editorial side, Triber researched and produced trend alerts, weekly & quarterly retail analysis, & material reports for the Home Interiors division.

In 2013, Triber began consultancy services for trend predictive companies such as Fashion Snoops and Directives West. That same year, she was a keynote speaker at the Seattle Fashion Industry Conference.

In 2016, Triber launched Sage the Label, an international women’s contemporary brand offering 12 collections per year. In 2017, Triber joined the educational staff at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, where she teaches Trend & Design Application as well as Classification & Line Development.

Our founder
In 2019, Triber led the creative team for New York based print & textile manufacturer Imprima Group North America, creating actionable theme and product deliverables for private label brands servicing retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Target, & WalMart.
Over the past decade, Triber has brought artistic visions to life wardrobe styling for both national and international brands, including Disney, Harper Publications, Hewlett Packard, Honda, and Volcom, while also dabbling in the music arena, working with Atlantic Records, Hollywood Records, Universal Records, and Republic Records.
